Joyful Fundraising
AJN’s fundraising campaigns aim to further support our goal of providing the opportunity to sing to anyone who wishes to do so. Our teams of volunteers work hard to plan fundraising activities that are fun and to come up with events and products that are enjoyable and useful. Some fundraisers, like grocery card sales, are ongoing, alongside other date specific campaigns like Joyful Cornerstore, Purdys chocolates, Wine Tastings, annual Garage Sale and more. Spring Campaign
Our Spring Campaign is now open for orders. This time, we’re offering traditional Ukrainian foods from sausage to perogies and more! Also on offer, specialty teas including a curated A Joyful Noise Tea Box that would make a great Mother’s Day gift, and two of Pinocchio Ice Cream’s most delicious and popular flavors. Compost Sale
Spring weather makes many eager to start gardening, and AJN’s Compost Sale is right on time! Get set to enrich your flower beds and gardens by pre-ordering compost for pick up on the evening of Friday, May 10, the day before our Compost Sale in the parking lot of Allendale School. Order by May 8!
Sip & Savour – A Joyful Wine Tasting
Sip and Savour as you take A Stroll through Italy! Sample five Italian wines along with delicious food pairings chosen to enhance each variety. The wines are perfect for summer enjoyment and you’ll learn about each from Joy of Wine expert Marcia Hamm. There will be a chance to win great prizes with your purchase of wine, and Joyful entertainment to enjoy!

Can’t make it to the Wine Tasting but would like to try the Italian wines on offer? Good news! The 5 specially curated wines are available through the Joyful Wine Club! And we offer tasting notes and pairing suggestions to help in choosing wines for your summer enjoyment. With red, white and rosé selections, there is something for every wine lover! Grocery Cards
We all have to buy groceries, so it couldn’t be easier to support A Joyful Noise than by buying gift cards for your favorite stores through our monthly campaigns. Choose from Safeway/Sobeys, Superstore, Save-On Foods, Italian Centre and Freson Bros in $25, $50 and $100 denominations.
April grocery card orders are now closed. Pickup will be the week of April 29. You will receive an email regarding pickup closer to the date.
Bottle Drive
We welcome donations of your bottle and drink container refunds. Bring your bottles to Millwoods Bottle Depot at 2830 Parsons Road NW . You don’t even need to go into the main building – instead, use “Quick Drop” by driving up to the east side of the building. Depending on the weather, you may stop at the Quick Drop tent or follow the signage by the overhead door and you will be helped there. Let the staff at the Quick Drop area know that your refund should go to the “Joyful Noise” account.
