Joyful Fundraising
AJN’s fundraising campaigns aim to further support our goal of providing the opportunity to sing to anyone who wishes to do so. Our teams of volunteers work hard to plan fundraising activities that are fun and to come up with events and products that are enjoyable and useful. Some fundraisers, like grocery card campaigns, are date specific and occur regularly. Alongside are other date specific campaigns like Purdys chocolates, the annual Joyful Garage Sale and more. Garage Sale
Mark your calendars! The Joyful Garage Sale returns this fall to Parkallen Community League Hall, 6510 111 St NW. Come check out our annual AJN Fundraiser on September 7 and 8! You’ll be sure to find all kinds of treasures – housewares, home décor, books, CDs, collectibles, antiques, toys, gardening, tools, and more!
Doing some decluttering? Donations will be gratefully accepted on Friday, September 6 between 9am – 6pm.
Please note: donated goods must be clean and in good condition. We cannot accept large furniture, mattresses, or bags of unsorted clothing. Alternate drop-off times may be available. For inquiries please email choirs@ajoyfulnoisechoir.ca.
Grocery Cards
We all have to buy groceries, so it couldn’t be easier to support A Joyful Noise than by buying gift cards for your favorite stores through our monthly campaigns. Choose from Safeway/Sobeys, Superstore, Save-On Foods, Italian Centre and Freson Bros in $25, $50 and $100 denominations.
July grocery card orders are now closed. Pickup will be the week of July 29. You will receive an email regarding pickup closer to the date.
Bottle Drive
We welcome donations of your bottle and drink container refunds. Bring your bottles to Millwoods Bottle Depot at 2830 Parsons Road NW . If you have a small quantity of containers, bring them into the main depot building. No need to wait while they are counted, just let staff know your refund should go to the “Joyful Noise” account. If you have a large quantity, you don’t even need to go into the main building – instead, use “Quick Drop” by driving up to the east side of the building and following the instructions on the signage. Again, let the staff at the Quick Drop area know that your refund should go to the “Joyful Noise” account.
